Welcome to the first week of updates. For those that haven’t looked into how this works, I shoot for a rough time every seven days to keep this updated. This year, I’ll be aiming for 5p PST on Mondays. As I’m out in Washington State, it coincides well with the end of work for people out here–and for me.
Obviously, this one is a little late. Setup took quite some time and I had no idea it would take as long as it did to update all the numbers of people. I’ll work on improving that from here on out. Thankfully, I have a National Championship game on tv, Elysian beer in a pint, and Kishi Bashi’s 151a playing. It’s easily one of my favorite albums of last year and I have a planned ‘favorite albums’ list for last year to be posted soon. I promised it to some people and I’m just finalizing the post. Expect it later this week, if that’s your sort of thing.
This is quite the list going. I’m impressed by everyone’s reading. With so many people out there, we can use this as a meet-and-greet in the comments if anyone so chooses. It would be entertaining to get a feel for who out there got involved, why, and where you hail from. Enjoy reading and looking forward to a successful and interesting 2013!

« 52 in 52: Weekly Wrap up 52 and 2013 Week 00 52 in 52: Weekly Wrap Up 02 »

I’m out of Washington state as well. Thanks for putting this on again this year. It really helps to keep me motivated
Oh, whoops. I joined and then didn’t bother to update. I predict that that will be a trend.
You wouldn’t be the first, won’t be the last. I’m awful at it, as well.
Hello all of my fellow readers. I am a 21 year old Female from Wisconsin. I realized lately that I have been falling down on my reading and miss all of the wonderful stories that I used to breeze though.
When I saw the 52 in 52 link on Reddit.com I was interested and decided to join. I’m not sure that I will be able to keep up the goal of 52 books seeing as how I am a new accounting student and my classes start the 18th of this month, not to mention I have an epicly large cross-stitch I am working on as a present that I would like to get done some time in the next year or so.
But I will try my hardest to keep up, and I figure, at least this is a motivator, even if I don’t reach the goal of 52.
Happy reading!
Hey Mat, Just wanted to say ‘Thanks’ for putting this on for everyone. I loved doing it last year and it was a great way to keep track and set some reading related goals. Since it meant I was logging my reading in 3 different places for each book, I’m going to skip it this year. I reached and exceeded my goal last year and this year I’m shooting for more. Good luck to you and everyone else!
Tracy
How do I get my spread sheet up there?
You simply need to share it with me and it will appear on the next update
hey Mat!
So much fun to be doing this again this year.
Thought I had shared my link with you…but guess I didn’t. You should get an email from me now with the link! Thanks
- Tina
P.S. If anyone wants the link to my spreadsheet from last year’s challenge, let me know. You can email me if you like
